| Active | Competency is valid and within its expiry window. |
| Expiring Soon | Expiry date is within the organisation’s warning threshold (default: 30 days). |
| Expired | Expiry date has passed. The worker will be blocked from starting gated inspections or checklists unless renewed. |
| Pending Approval | Evidence has been submitted but not yet approved. |
